Organization Summary

The Technology Planning and Business Operations organization provides key business management oversight and integration across the Technology organization.  This includes driving investment planning & budgeting, program/project portfolio management, workforce planning activities, strategic initiative program management, and communications activities. The team is focused on improving efficiencies, transparency, consistency and collaboration within the Technology organization and other key cross-functional stakeholders.

 

Position Summary

The Business Analyst will be primarily responsible for supporting Technology portfolio reporting, including various management reports/dashboard with standard cadence and all required data analysis. This position interacts with many cross-functional stakeholders, including various Technology teams, Finance, and many business function leads. This position will report to the Senior Director of Technology Planning and Business Operations and will interact with senior leadership. Key responsibilities include,

  • Deliver project and program reporting, create summaries and overviews of investments, and review content / insights from stakeholders’ status commentary to ensure content quality for executive-level program/project reporting. Integrate reporting with day-to-day governance practice to drive compliance.

  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and other program health tracking to provide visibility to key stakeholders on projects and programs. This will include working with key stakeholders to define key performance measures and driving analytics.

  • Extract, combine and transform raw data from various source systems to present meaningful insights for management decisions.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
•Experience with one or more reporting systems such as SQL, Excel, MS Access and Analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE, etc. to develop dashboards

Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
•Experience in the Payments and/or Technology industry a plus
•5+ years of proven experience in business analytics, reporting, and data visualization.
•Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with an attention to detail.
•Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels
•Ability to summarize and communicate key financial information and business data at an executive level.
•Ability to work independently with strong time management with sense of urgency and ability to execute on multiple concurrent deliverables
•Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
•PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification preferred.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 92,600.00 to 118,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
