Job Description

The Accommodation Specialist, People Shared Services will be responsible for supporting a People Services Specialized Services team for the Americas servicing approximately 10,000 employees.

This individual will focus on building a culture of continuous improvement ensuring efficient and consistent employee experience. The Accommodation Specialist is the employee’s first point of contact and will lead the accommodation process for both ADA and Religious requests.

Essential Functions:

Support Operational Team: Support a team of professionals to respond to all employee HR questions and support new People/HR program launches.

Key areas of responsibility:

· Lead delivery of employee accommodations including medical and religious accommodations by conducting the interactive process with business leaders, people business partners and employees

· Assist employees in understanding the reasonable accommodation process, related forms and their responsibilities

· Perform case management and coordinate the accommodations process from end-to-end

· Provides consultation and education to employee and managers on accommodations process, legal considerations and determinations

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and every other Thursday with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD). Experience using enterprise-scale HRIS (like Workday) and HR Case Management systems (like ServiceNow).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Accommodations related work experience with a bachelor’s degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) • Knowledge of federal disability laws for employees with disabilities (ie – ADA and FMLA) • Strong verbal and written communication skills and track record working closely with business leaders and employees. • Preferred Workday and ServiceNow experience, other comparable software tools acceptable.

• Strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. • Collaborative style and a good team player with a strong customer focus mind-set that focusses on employee experience and continuous improvement for all processes.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 72,000.00 to 91,800.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
