Job Description

Payment Products Development is at the heart of making Visa the best way to pay and be paid for everyone, everywhere. We are a globally distributed division of over 1,000 team members within Visa’s Technology organization. We partner with the business to design, build and support the global payment processing systems that drive Visa. As the trusted experts behind VisaNet, the dynamic payments network that connects consumers and merchants with financial institutions, we drive innovation for today and the future.

This position plays a critical role and engages with development teams and project managers within Technology and with Client Services to successfully implement large scale software releases. The candidate would be a program manager with experience in program and project management of large-scale software implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the program management of the quarterly software releases that include a portfolio of 90 – 110 projects with a budget of over 45M annually.  Work in close partnership with the development and project management organizations and Client Services to ensure successful release implementation.

  • Responsible for planning the Command Centers to support the release implementation.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

5 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
• 3+ years of proven experience managing technically complex projects and programs
• Solid understanding of project and program management techniques, methodologies, and best practices, especially as they relate to large scale software implementations
• Highly effective interpersonal skills with an ability to partner with stakeholders across Technology and Client Services organizations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically
• Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, Jira and SharePoint expertise
• Payments Processing/FinTech experience is a plus

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 101,800.00 to 132,300.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
