Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for reviewing network designs for accuracy
- Review and approve system deployment plans
- Support contractors and internal teams in all network activities.
- Support internal and external teams as necessary in the installation and integration of software related to the network
- Work with technical teams to develop procedures, processes, and tools to deploy, test, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the network.
- Provide network troubleshooting and analysis support to solve hardware, firmware, and software issues encountered with the network.
- Designing and implementing new network infrastructure.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist other areas of in the development documentation related to the network.
- Help with solving complex technical issues found during deployment and operation of the network.
- Mentor and assist other team members assisting with networking projects

Qualifications
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO HAVE
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field
- In lieu of degree, a high school diploma/equivalent with four or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- 5+ years of experience in the implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of technologies for networking applications
- 2+ years of field experience in deploying wide area networks.
WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO HAVE
- Degree discipline of Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- Understanding of communications technology and its application within the industry.
- Network certifications on applicable platforms

This position can be performed in a remote work arrangement for any candidate located outside the greater Cleveland area, or any Visa office. To foster community, connection, and collaboration, it is expected that candidates within a 50 mile commute of our Mentor, Ohio location adhere to a hybrid working model. Hybrid work is also expected for any candidate within a 50 mile commute of a Visa office. This hybrid model includes in office and work from home days each week.
COLORADO APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Colorado is $88,000.00 to $112,200.00 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for annual bonus and equity.
