Job Description

The VCA Data Compliance Analyst will support development of executive-level data compliance, reporting, and metrics, and partner with Visa stakeholders.  The ideal candidate is deadline-driven, highly detail-oriented, and has a track record of effectively communicating complex and/or technical information both written and verbally.    

Key responsibilities,

  • Develops executive-level compliance communications to enable risk-informed business decision-making.
  • Ensures written deliverables are succinct, complete, defect-free, and geared to an executive audience.
  • Leads detailed discussions on compliance objectives by conducting trainings and answering questions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills effective for developing global relationships
  • Collaborates with technical staff and other key stakeholders to identify and define, high risk projects and experienced in escalating risks to leadership.
  • Experienced in reporting metrics, timelines, and effective project management skills. 
  • Provides input to privacy, disclosure, and confidentially guidelines.
  • Assists in implementation of processes and procedures for compliance reporting and metrics activities.
  • Researches best practices and innovative approaches to enable assessment and communication of compliance risk and metrics.
  • Highly skilled in the creation of presentations, dashboards and other reporting mechanisms. High attention to detail with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and distill it in crisp, clear language appropriate for a variety of audiences including technology and business executives
  • Contribute towards process improvement of team processes, templates, and tools.

This can be hires in any of these locations Foster City , Denver, NY, Miami, Austin, Arlington, Ashburn

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications,

2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications,

2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 1 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Bachelor’s degree is required with preference for degrees in Engineering, Business or related fields with an outstanding record of academic achievement. MS/MBA is a plus.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Two to three years of professional experience in a business or technology setting.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication ability and an aptitude for effectively conveying complex and/or technical information.
• Dashboard visualization skills in PowerBI, Tableau, PowerAutomate etc. are a plus.
• Superior analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Mission-first attitude and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong research skills.

COLORADO APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Colorado is 88,000 USD to 112,200 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for annual bonus and equity.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
