The purpose of this role is to deliver scalable, secure applications while following the software development life cycle that is established by the company. This role will be responsible for delivering end-to-end software solutions that fulfill both customer and project needs. This includes writing clean, readable, and reusable code, testing, deploying to end users, and providing support when needed. Development takes place in a fast-paced Agile environment that adjusts to meet the requirements of various stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

• Develop an understanding of business, technical, and infrastructure requirements.
• Assist in the creation of general system design and technical specifications for new/replacement/enhancement systems
• Apply coding and analytical skills in all phases of the system life cycle
• Test, debug, support and maintain application programs for customers
• Accountable for the performance, reliability, availability, and scalability of applications as assigned
• Communicate effectively with agile team members to provide progress updates, roadblocks, and offer suggestions & solutions
• Design and code applications based upon detail specifications of business and/or user requirements
• Ensure effective integration of software across products, platforms and environments
• Analyze existing applications to determine where problems occur and develop possible solutions
• Create and/or assist in creation of unit and functional/UI testing
• Develop and support applications utilizing languages including C# and JavaScript
• UI development utilizing JavaScript and related libraries, HTML, and CSS
• Build and deploy web applications that are focused on ease-of-use, task-driven functionality, and a consistent user experience across multiple browsers and operating systems.
• Use of source code repositories, builds, and deploys ex: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins
• Team collaboration in the form of coding with two or more developers

What you need to have:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field In lieu of degree, a high school diploma/equivalent with four or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• 3+ years of professional experience as a .NET Developer
• Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer utilizing C# , .NET Core, JavaScript, CSS, Razor, HTML
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and can easily communicate with both technical and non-technical team members

What we would like you to have:

• Familiarity with design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with Test-Driven Development
• Familiarity with UI test frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks such (e.g., Jest)
• Experience with any JavaScript frameworks and languages such as React, TypeScript.
• Experience with Pair / Ensemble Programming
• Experience with Docker Containers
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design (SOLID Software Principles), web application architecture and relational database design
  Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft T-SQL using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
