Job Description

The Visa Direct Product team is responsible for leading Visa’s efforts to support all channels and extend payouts “beyond the card”. Building on Visa Direct’s market leading platform, the Visa Direct service enables corporates, governments, banks. Fintechs, etc., unprecedented options to send payments to consumers and small business around the world.

We are seeking a Product Solutions team member who can help drive critical growth initiatives, both globally and regionally, in a complex, matrixed environment.  The ideal candidate will be a structured, analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in how products are developed and delivered. S/he enjoys variety and collaborating with people. S/he is thoughtful, curious and analytical with a desire to make an impact. S/he is client-centric and oriented around finding solutions to complex problems.

This analyst role will report to the Director of Cross Border/Remitter Analytics, Planning and Optimization.  The role holder will support the Visa Direct cross border strategy with in-depth analytics of transaction forecasts, actuals and evaluation/identification of trends resulting in opportunities to improve Cross Border performance.

Essential Functions

You will be responsible for weekly/monthly and quarterly analysis of Visa Direct cross border performance versus plan, annual planning process, revenue forecasting and ad-hoc analytic projects as assigned.  This includes working across the organization including Finance, Visa Payments Limited (VPL), global and regional product teams.   

You will need to:

  • Build and maintain subject matter expertise in Remittances to provide foundational context for Visa Direct growth initiatives through a deep understanding of the remittance competitive landscape and evolving industry trends
  • Drive annual strategic and financial planning efforts and track subsequent performance versus plan
  • Work closely with regional product and cross-functional teams to drive cross-border volumes for key corridors in each region
  • Communicate and build support for recommendations among business leaders across the organization
  • Support strategic initiatives such as the commercialization of new go-to-market approach to accelerate Visa’s growth and drive revenue in remittances

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Experience in financial modeling and reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Payments or financial services industry experience preferred
• Prior product management, consulting, payments, ecommerce or corporate strategy experience is a huge plus
• Excellent communication skills with client-facing or sales operations experience
• Strong persuasion skills with the ability to influence and drive consensus across multiple partners

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
