Job Description
How You Will Make an Impact
Visa’ Agility Hub is seeking a high caliber, seasoned Agile Transformation Lead Coach to perform portfolio and program level and contribute to the adoption of standard agility practices across the Visa ecosystem.
In this role, you will be part of Visa’ Lean Agility Hub. You will be responsible for content creation, train the trainer programs and portfolio leadership as they embark on an Agility transformation journey. You will leverage your ability to implement change within a large scale, matrixed organization spanning across Technology, Product, Finance, and Client Services. This role also focuses on identifying areas of improvement in existing processes to bring them in line with Lean/Agile principles and remove unnecessary roadblocks to product development and delivery.
Deliverables
- Educate cross-functional teams on lean and agile principles
- Facilitate the definition of transformation outcomes with senior leadership
- Implement and augment transformation roadmap
- Lead various workshops such as Value Stream Identification workshops, Value Stream mapping workshops
- Participate in the selection and launch of team of teams
- Collaborate in the creation of VISA specific content to onboard new coaches
- Collaborate in the creation of VISA specific content to onboard new portfolios
- Onboard new coaches and ensure they have the portfolio and Visa context
- Conduct a kick off and readiness assessment with portfolios new to Agility
- Oversee and implement an engagement model with coaches deployed to new teams
- Engage with portfolio leadership to ensure objectives are met and quality coaching is delivered
- Partner with the Learning organization on trainings, workshops and experience for different maturity models
- Provide regular updates on the adoption of Lean/Agile principles at Visa

Qualifications
• 10 years of relevant work experience in software development with a Bachelor’s Degree or 5 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
• 10 years’ experience as a full time Agile coach
Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• You are a passionate Agilist who knows the difference between Agile and Agility, and can easily explain it
• You are easily able to apply Lean Thinking/Principles to business problems and create high agility solutions
• You have strong acumen of Financial Services industry, including regulatory requirements
• You have strong Software and Product development experience
• You have extensive experience in implementing large scale Enterprise-agile transformation with success record in using SAFe as a framework of reference : Hands-on experience in launching a new ART, supporting and coaching Program Increment (PI) planning
• You are SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certified
• You have hands-on experience in SAFe and have participated in at least one SAFe implementation
• You are self-motivated and highly driven. You have “get-things-done” DNA
• You can demonstrate strong knowledge of / and background with lean/agile concepts in a large company/enterprise.
• You have Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus (Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner or the SAFe SM/PO certifications)
• You have experience with agile work management tools such as Jira Align and Jira.
• You have championed or co-designed coaching programs to scale adoption.
• You are able to influence and impact at the VP and above level.
• You have excellent verbal skills. In particular, a demonstrated ability to communicate to multiple organizational levels
• You are a strong team player with advanced interpersonal & relationship-building skills
• You think out of the the box and enjoy finding creative solutions to challenges
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
