Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Finance Senior Manager to join the Global Product Finance team to support the high growth Visa Direct business.  This role will help drive the commercial go to market strategy for Visa Direct and more broadly across Money Movement.  The role will leverage sophisticated financial models, deal insights and analysis and other performance indicators to help shape and influence decision making.

The Global Product Finance team works using a strategic finance advisory model with key stakeholders in the business to apply data to business and finance decisions as well as measure performance.

The Finance Senior Manager will drive financial thought leadership and process optimization related to (1) commercial deal management and (2) operating expense planning and analysis.

Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders and serves as a key point of contact for deal-related queries.

Evolve the nascent Visa Direct operating models for reviewing, approving and evaluating deals.

Lead analyses, propose and implement new models, and drive subsequent change management in the following areas

Existing commercial terms

Structure and catalog existing deal data

Analyze data and present findings

Prepare benchmarking/comparative analyses for new deals

Pro forma variance analyses

Establish processes to compare actual deal performance vs proposed deal terms

Analyze data and present findings

Implement changes to account for controllable variables in future pro formas

Guardrails for deal constructs

Work with cross-functional teams to create guardrails for deal constructs

Socialize guardrails with various regional and global deal approval bodies

Drive adoption of new deal constructs and associated guardrails

Manage traditional FP&A opex responsibilities of budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, reporting, and business planning support.

Collaborate with business leaders to quantify the financial impacts of operational risks and opportunities. Successfully apply insights learned to the planning and forecasting processes

Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business functions, globally

Supports or leads wide variety of ad hoc requests and special projects

Qualifications

·         7+ years of combined Finance and Consulting experience with progressively                           increasing responsibilities (2 years of Finance experience minimum)

·         Consulting or corporate strategy experience a plus

·         Able to rapidly establish a broad and deep understanding of the payments landscape

·         Foundational understanding of multi-party economic model (issuers, acquirers,                        processors, interchange, merchants, cardholders, etc.)

·         Enjoys an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-                  oriented

·         Converts complex analyses into revealing business storylines

·         Highly detail oriented

·         Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint required
