Job Description
Our current HR Shared Services team provides support to Visa employees globally, primarily focused on processing data management and answering HR inquiries. The team is comprised of ~30 employees, primarily located in our hubs in Austin,Texas and Bangalore,India. The HR Associate in Singapore will support HR activities for the region and the site. This includes, but is not limited to, employee inquiries, issue resolution, record administration, document management, urgent exit process and other HR administration activities requiring onsite physical presence. In addition, this person will support the Analyst in Singapore during transitioning of work from HR Business Partners (HRBPs)/Centers of Expertise (COEs) as part of the enhancement of the HR Shared Services delivery model.
Essential Functions:
Local support for the assisting the analyst in Singapore with documentation and SOPs
First point of contact to handle any time zone sensitive requests/issues from employees and local HR that require local knowledge and physical presence.
Responsible for overseeing local physical Record Retention policy for employee records including on-boarding, off-boarding, employee personal and employment data, mass data changes and employment adjustments and exit data
Responsible for physical distribution of all Service Awards applicable to the AP region
Will support local HR day-to-day operations for the site requiring some local HR knowledge.
Assists with local audit requests (external & internal to Visa) pertaining to employee records
Adheres to the Visa Code of Conduct and Mission and Value statement
Have a fairly good understanding of Service Level agreements(SLAs), assignments & escalations
Maintains confidentiality as it pertains to all HR and Payroll information
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with 2 -3 years of progressive Human Resources experience
Reasonable knowledge of local HR processes and compliance
Previous experience with creating SOPs and documentation
Good customer service skills
Ability to work on multiple systems at any given time
Preferred:
Experience working in an HR Shared Services organization or similar environment
Experience working using a case management system
Workday experience a plus
