Job Description
Position Overview
Reporting to the [Head of Issuer Processing International Markets] and aligned to the [Head of Regional Product, Regional Head of Sales Operations], this position is responsible for leading Visa’s issuer processing relationships in the region. This leader will develop and manage issuer processing relationships and expertise throughout the region for all Visa clients in the region, and will act as the key interface between the global issuer processing team and clients in AP. Requires a deep understanding of issuer processor needs and experience leading client relationships, and ability to drive the strategic direction of Visa’s issuer processing solutions in the region.
Requirements / Job Scope
- Build and manage regional and market-level issuer processor partnerships, across global, traditional, and neo-processing players
- Work closely with the global issuer processing team to develop commercial constructs
- Serve as Visa’s issuer processing expert in the region to assist clients in meeting their business objectives and work cross-functionally to address business challenges
- Maintain knowledge of global processing trends including Processor innovations, regulatory directions and disruptor impacts
- Partner with Client Services to respond to technical client challenges related to issuer processing
- Continuously assesses client needs related to issuer processing across AP markets and adjust Visa’s roadmap to address those needs if necessary
- Collaborate with issuer and fintech client teams to construct an end-to-end card issuing value proposition – inclusive of issuer processing
- Be the regional contact supporting Global accounts (Fiserv, FIS & Global Payments)
- Be the regional contact in support global MNA strategies
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience working for or with issuer processors or issuer processing arms. Strong client relationship, sales, and project management skills required
- Deep knowledge of issuer processing, trends, and dynamics including ability to technically assess and engage with processors and fintechs
- Deep knowledge of Asia Pacific market
- Ability to independently lead and manage projects with multiple workstreams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems
- Personal presence and ability to influence senior leaders and clients
- Expert in deal structuring, negotiation, documentation and execution
- Analytical skill and personal drive to identify and pursue new opportunities
