Job Description

TEAM SUMMARY

Visa's Small Business Product team is responsible for identifying new opportunities that exist within the small business payment marketplace, creating products that define Visa's participation in those opportunities, and delivering the capabilities required to capture those opportunities. Responsibilities in the Small Business Group involve a strong mix of analytics, strategic planning, new product development, and project management. Success in the Small Business Group requires knowledge of small business landscape and payments.

This position supports the Small Business Product Client Enablement team that is responsible for providing insights on product and market trends, developing growth strategies, developing and implementing new and creative approaches to product improvement, and developing strategic recommendations to help drive profitable growth for both Visa and clients.

Position

  • Support Client Enablement team in various key efforts, supporting issuer portfolio optimization

  • Serve as liaison to key Visa internal and relevant external teams to  drive the production of meaningful and actionable insights into Visa’s small business credit and debit portfolios

  • Support ad-hoc issuer analytics

  • Evaluate marketplace to identify customer needs, competitor trends and industry best practices

  • Help develop business cases, and requirements to support the development of new products and services

  • Work closely with product management peers  

  • Support efforts related to research and insights gathering

  • Develop a deep expertise in all Visa Small Business products to demonstrate industry leadership across small business products (including market-driven knowledge)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

  • Strong business acumen and a global mindset

  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical resources

  • Add value by insightful and thoughtful questioning, offering new ideas, and delivering solutions

  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, highly organized and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities

  • Ability to work with leading industry partners and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcome

  • Able to work independently in a matrixed environment

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with strong knowledge of excel.  

  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills with strong knowledge of PowerPoint.

  • Robust organizational  skills with demonstrated ability to track and communicate the status of multiple workstreams

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
