Job Description
This position is within the Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) team in CEMEA and includes specific responsibility in each region within CEMEA.
This position is tasked with collating, summarizing and creating transparency on financial and operational results of the CEMEA VCA team primarily for the head of the function, the regional leads as well as each team member, and provides decision-supporting analysis to the BPO Manager for business planning purposes and strategic initiatives. The person is also responsible for analyzing performance management, budgeting, forecasting of the function, supporting consolidation processes and monitor as well as optimize business operations.
The cornerstone activity of this role is consistency, transparency, planning, analyzing and reporting in alignment with regional and globally defined standardized guidelines and processes.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Support BPO Manager in preparing the overall budget planning and financial forecasting of the VCA CEMEA function by collecting information from all sub-regions and managing the monthly validation of financial and operational performance
Coordinate, execute and participate in the budgeting process and ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting
Manage VCA Incentives status by ensuring performance is tracked correctly (i.e. client incentives, contracts commitment status and new deals in pipeline) with each sub-region and support the provision of related reporting to CEMEA region and VCA Global
Support BPO Manager in preparing information required for ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from CEMEA and Global Finance teams, Global VCA teams, CEMEA Business Ops, etc.
Business Operations Support
Responsible for tracking and reporting of consulting hours (planned versus performed) to BPO Manager and Head of VCA CEMEA using related in-house reporting systems
Support BPO Manager in tracking VCA utilization and performance and manage information sources used to feed into the VCA CEMEA scorecard
Monitor VCA Playbook/PSA entries and provide status reports as well as support BPO Manager to communicate tool enhancements, developments and updates to the team
Responsible for assessing team compliance by cross-checking completeness and archival of all VCA project documentation
Practice Support
Under guidance of BPO Manager, be the primary point-of-contact for centralized CEMEA vendor management incl. vendor set-up, contractual approval and vendor tracking
Manage the collation of VCA CEMEA’s weekly status update reporting to the VCA Global team
Support the execution of VCA CEMEA Client Days, Conferences and Media-events in collaboration with BPO Manager and other client communication support, if needed
Support BPO Manager with organizing VCA regional team meetings and off-sites
Team Support
Support the onboarding of all new VCA CEMEA team members in collaboration with the hiring manager
Be responsible for the ongoing provision and maintenance of VCA related equipment, granting of server access rights, and collation of consultant information (i.e. bios, pictures, business cards, etc.)
Act as the primary point-of-contact for all VCA CEMEA team members for the provision of process and administrative-related documentation (e.g. project initiation forms, project evaluation forms)
Support the BPO Manager in driving VCA CEMEA’s strategic BPO agenda and to fulfill all related cross-functional CEMEA and Global BPO work streams
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Comprehensive understanding of business processes and structure
Excellent analytical, written, oral, organizational, and presentation skills
Skilled at handling a variety of tasks with different levels of complexity
Ability to develop effective plans and organize work efficiently
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Result orientation and pro-activity
Experience in project management
Business fluency in English (written and spoken)
Solid excel and power point skills required
Desired Education and Experience:
University degree in Business Administration, with focus on Finance/Business Analysis/Controllership
Qualified accountant preferred, but not mandatory
Experienced in financial planning and analysis
2 years of experience in controllership, finance or business analysis
