Job Description

1. Purpose

Lead all the work related to marketing activities conducted in collaboration with Visa strategic partners Development and implementation of the marketing strategy to support Visa MSS (merchants’ sales and solutions) strategy implementation

2. Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Area·       
  
Develop and implement a marketing strategy to support Visa MSS (merchants’ sales and solutions)
  strategy implementation
       
  
Develop and implement a strategic plan for Visa activities in partnership with other companies        
  
Manage new and existing partners joint campaigns to successfully meet the KPI’s

Work closely with cross function to optimize the partnership

Work on the brief campaigns with the agencies and launch them in different channels including clients and social/digital

Obtain legal clearance & party sign off

Managing day to day logistics and operations of the campaign mechanics

Solving issues as consumer complaints

Work with banks on campaigns activation and tracking 

On going assessment of the progress towards Visa goals 

Post campaign analysis & internal reporting

   
Continually monitor all the new trends, tools, technologies in eCom in general and activities of Visa
partners/other merchants
to identify new opportunities and define new strategies and solutions for more effective and efficient Visa Business goals achievement        
Apply analysis of card payment trends, market opportunities, cardholder behaviour to partnership marketing and plan in order to make strategic recommendations on future business direction

Manage the allocated budget for partnership activities and ensure all activities are performed within parameters fully and on time in accordance with Visa policies and requirements.

Establish strong partnerships with internal (Visa Global teams, local marketing team and cross-functional teams) & external (agencies, partners, merchants) teams to assist in the delivery of joint campaigns, which will add value to the Visa cardholder offerings and create profitable business opportunities.  

Actively support the global brand strategy by ensuring all campaigns comply with the brand strategy and visual and verbal guidelines & Visa policies.

Effectively manage all stakeholders responsible for the successful implementation of a strategy including internal team, agencies, suppliers, merchants and banks and others as appropriate

Ensure all Global marketing policies and procedures are adhered to and identify areas where these policies and procedures need local adaptation.

Share best practice and successful programmes with other Visa Regional offices.

4. Decision Making & Complexity

Accountable for decision-making on partnership marketing strategy development and
  implementation.

Accountable for all joint marketing activities organisation, administration and implementation incl. contract development and organisation of signing the contracts

Negotiation of terms and conditions of marketing part of partnership (campaigns, activities, etc)

5. Financial & Organizational Scope

Coordination of joint marketing activities for them to be effective and reflect Visa Russia priorities Administration of the marketing budget on partnership activities to include monitoring, budget log management, variance analysis, liaison with finance and reporting of monthly budget forecasts

Budget responsibility for managing approx.$1m OPEX

6. Reporting Relationships & Interactions

This position reports to Head of Marketing, Russia.  The candidate will interact with various levels of management across the organization – Global, Regional and within Russia office. Strong interpersonal skills are required to address on-going needs of the organization.

Required Experience (education, skills - professional/technical/business)   

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field with a marketing foundation   
  • Significant experience in marketing.  3-5 years in a role related to partnership marketing programs and activities realisation would be advantageous.  
  • Innovative  and creative thinker with a track record of delivery and ability to manage several projects concurrently and see them through from conception to conclusion   
  • Must be strong team player, able to work on multitask projects and  in a multi-functional  teams   
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, hands-on, growth orientated work environment, must be adaptive to change   
  • Must be self-confident and able to think on their feet   
  • Strong personal motivation and commitment   
  • Must be proactive and demonstrate initiative  
  • Must be responsive and sociable
