Job Description

THE ROLE

The Core Value Proposition (CVP) and Loyalty team is part of the Visa Consumer Product team in Asia Pacific, one of Visa’s most dynamic and innovative regions. This newly-formed team’s primary focus is to redesign Visa’s loyalty, features and benefits capabilities into digital platforms and end-to-end consumer experiences that will drive client preference for Visa as a strategic partner and enabler of superior value propositions for the digitally-enabled consumer. 

As a key member of this team, you will curate and develop the product benefits platforms across various customer segments with a focus on Affluent and Millennial customers. You will be responsible for the strategy, sourcing, management, go-to-market plans and implementation of the benefits platform through Visa’s digital channels and other new commerce paradigm entities. In this role, you will need to be highly collaborative and be the key interface between the Visa US Offers & Loyalty team, local product leads and business development management teams in key AP markets to develop solutions that will enable our clients to drive greater card usage, retention and preference.

Working closely with the Core Product team, you will also be co-developing the right product and value propositions for targeted customer segments and leveraging on Visa’s API deployment to allow clients to quickly plug into Visa’s assets and partnerships, to drive greater customer engagement & loyalty. 

We are looking for a self-starter who has in-depth travel & lifestyle partnership, concierge and loyalty management expertise with a track record in managing deep partnerships with external merchants and agencies. You should have experience working in a matrix structure and adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best in class solutions for our clients. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership and management of set up, implementation and operationalizing new and existing platform benefits for key customer segments across Asia Pacific.
  • Develop the benefits strategy and recommend compelling, differentiated and relevant product benefits to support all Visa Products across AP.
  • Through strategic partnerships with key travel and lifestyle merchants, third party providers or agencies, secure best in class offers and privileges to provide a competitive advantage for Visa Products.
  • In developing the benefits strategy, utilize industry, consumer purchasing behavior, consumer research and customer knowledge from in country teams, to seek out new benefits that will support the core value proposition of the key segments.
  • Support growth of Visa product portfolio in AP with a focus on driving online and international usage and digital channels
  • Driving continual process and platform improvements through identifying efficiencies or removing pain points based on stakeholder feedback or self-identifying change opportunities.
  • Manage A&P initiatives and relevant budgets to ensure that initiatives are delivered on time, within the agreed budget and due process is followed.
  • Prepare client-ready materials to support sales teams and deployment activities
  • Engage market product teams to ensure correct alignment and implementation approach; solicit feedback from platform delivery deployments and convey back to teams, as appropriate.


Qualifications

  • 10 years+ experience in retail banking/ consumer cards businesses
  • Business degree / MBA preferred
  • Sales & Marketing skills with a proven track-record in negotiations and partnerships
  • Good understanding of consumer travel and lifestyle products and services
  • Strong appreciation of technology
  • Sound knowledge of payments industry, card systems and processes
  • Familiar with product development lifecycle
  • Financial and P&L management experience
  • Strong Project management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Entrepreneurial with ability to take initiative at work
  • Self-driven, team player.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated negotiation and business development skills
