Job Description

The Manager, Corporate Philanthropy & Responsibility will be responsible for helping manage the operations and administration of Visa’s philanthropic strategy across corporate and foundation
charitable contributions. The role will have primary responsibility for the vetting, tracking, processing, disbursing and reporting of all charitable contributions made by Visa Inc. and/or an associated foundation entity. The role will manage the production of regular charitable giving updates and reports for internal partners, Visa corporate / foundation leadership and external stakeholders. The Manager also will ensure that all corporate and foundation contributions are made in full compliance with relevant laws and regulations as well as Visa policies, and will help instill a culture of integrity in Visa’s philanthropic activities. This role requires working closely with various internal stakeholders who activate Visa’s philanthropic strategy in areas including financial inclusion, financial literacy, tech careers, entrepreneurs, employee involvement, local community giving, disaster response and related areas.The successful candidate will be a member of the Visa Corporate Responsibility team and will report to the Vice President, Head of Corporate Responsibility & Philanthropy.


Specific responsibilities include:

•Contributions Management
Manage the processing of all Visa corporate and foundation charitable contributions each year, including vetting, supporting documentation, approvals, tracking,
disbursements and record-keeping; review and track in-kind sponsorship-related donations; manage third-party vendor(s) supporting these activities

•Contributions Reporting
Ensure the timely submission of progress reports from Visa’s charitable contribution recipients; manage the production of charitable giving monthly, quarterly and annual reports for internal and external
stakeholders; respond to external inquiries regarding Visa’s philanthropic activities, including requests for data through philanthropy benchmarking and performance surveys

•Governance Operations Support
Support the operations of relevant corporate and foundation governing bodies, including preparation of quarterly meeting materials and reports, meeting minutes,
enactment of decisions, response to member requests, etc.

•Budget Management
Manage corporate and foundation budgeting process,including forecasting, invoicing/receiving and budget reconciliation

•Policy and Compliance
Serveas a delegate for the Visa Charitable Contributions Policy and other related policies, including supporting self-assessments, audits, employee training and
enhancements; ensure strong collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit and other stakeholders

•Research and Benchmarking
Contribute to regular research and benchmarking projects throughout the year to identify industry best practices and support recommendations for internal enhancements

•Measurement
Develop and implement strategic approach to outcomes and impact measurement of the philanthropic programs and grants

•Beyond Philanthropy
Support additional activities of the Corporate Responsibility and Philanthropy function

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) degree from top-tier institutions required

Minimum of 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in roles managing the
operations and administration of philanthropic grantmaking and contributions
programs

Experience in philanthropy in a corporate environment is preferred (i.e., corporate giving
and/or corporate foundation programs)

Experience with the financial, legal and compliance issues pertaining to corporate and
foundation charitable contributions

A passion for making a difference in society within a corporate environment

Global or multi-national experience is strongly preferred

Exceptional project management skills; extreme attention to detail required for materials
appropriate for senior executives

Self-starter with a passion to advance projects and bring forward new ideas

Strong communication skills, including within an environment interacting with senior
corporate executives

Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment, including
collaborating with and influencing various stakeholders regardless of reporting
and functional lines

Team oriented, collaborative, positive, diplomatic, good-humored and flexible;
willingness to accommodate schedules across global time zones as needed
