Job Description

  • Evaluate the existing vendor portfolio and create a plan for the growth, evolution and improvement of each relationship.
  • Establish and maintain methodology for documenting and communicating vendor growth, risks and lifecycle.
  • Interview vendors directly to identify solutions.
  • Manage portfolio of active suppliers and ensure risk assessments are updated and accurate, obtain audit requirements when needed and monitor risk related checkpoints.
  • Identify key industry partners and vendors, either business or technical, and explore potential for feature/function additions.
  • Foster communication with cross-channel stakeholders to ensure product line revenue is recognized, documented and communicated.
  • Help lead cross-functional core and extended business teams to review the health of the overall business, identify opportunities for cost savings and drive recommendations.
  • Proactively solicit feedback on vendor features, functionality, services and revenue capture.
  • Partner with Global Sourcing to ensure accurate Purchase Requisitions are created and managed appropriately.
  • Work alongside both the product team and technology partners to identify foundations and business cases to build value within CyberSource solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Management, Finance Operations or related role.
  • Specific industry experience in eCommerce and direct responsibilities for managing vendor-based relationships or projects, preferably in the Risk Solutions space.
  • Exceedingly strong passion for payment/risk industry awareness and competition.
  • Ability to meet fiscal deadlines for vendor budget planning and outstanding invoices.
  • Strong ability to manage communications with vendors and their representatives.
  • Understanding of development processes and how to maximize vendor cycles for project delivery.
  • Must be results-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks of an urgent nature.
  • Compelling verbal and written communication abilities including public speaking and understanding of product lines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; demonstrated effective listening and questioning skills and is comfortable dealing with all levels in the organization.
  • Standard secondary educational experience and recent relevant employment responsibilities required.
  • The ideal candidate will have relevant payment and/or risk industry experience.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools, reporting tools, and web-based applications.
  • Appropriate understanding of business finance and accounting related to product offering.
