Job Description

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the organization in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. This role ensures that all procurement activities align with company policies, quality standards, and budgetary requirements while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute the end-to-end procurement process, including obtaining quotations, negotiating prices, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Identify reliable suppliers and maintain an updated supplier database.
  • Work closely with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure timely supply of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Review and analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stores team to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Assist in preparing cost comparisons and procurement reports for management review.
  • Support in vendor audits and contract management as required.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for audit and reference.
  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and procurement software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of local and international suppliers and market trends.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
