Job Description

  • Organize the bar to ensure efficient and speedy service.
  • Prepare cocktails and beverages according to recipes provided.
  • Ensuring all beverages are ready to serve within the designated time frame allowed.
  • Dispense and serve all beverages as listed on the menu.
  • Ensure that the area behind the counter and all utensils and equipment in use are maintained in hygienic, orderly and clean condition.
  • Assist with preparation and setting up of promotional displays and decorations.
  • Assist with taking inventories of items and equipment in use and in stock.
  • Ensuring that all stock levels are maintained (without overstocking) and there is enough stock present at all times.
  • Provide efficient and courteous service to guests at the bar counter.
  • Completing a weekly staff rota ensuring fair distribution of hours to all staff.
  • Compile and maintain all the beverage lists updated and identifies changes required for better sales improvement.
  • Maintaining the cost of the beverages within the budget
  • Attend to meetings and briefings of the department when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years  Bartending experience in a same or similar environment.
  • High school degree or its equivalent.
  • Impeccable wine, beer and cocktail knowledge.
  • Passion for Food, Beverage and providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
