As our Commis, you will:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of hot dishes, including appetizers, mains, and side dishes, with a focus on taste, texture, and presentation.
- Work under the guidance of the Hot Kitchen Chef to ensure consistency and quality in all hot food offerings.
- Execute cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, sautéing, and braising to perfection, following standardized recipes and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hot kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support the culinary team during service hours, including mise en place, stock rotation, and inventory management for hot food items.
- Embrace opportunities for learning and growth, contributing to the creativity and innovation of our culinary offerings.
Qualifications
- A passion for culinary arts and a strong interest in specialising in hot kitchen operations.
