Job Description
You will work closely with customers to maintain, enhance and improve business-critical applications while providing technical and consultancy support across delivery projects.
The role offers opportunities to work across a broad range of technologies, contribute to solution design and support client decision-making through technical expertise and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and optimise complex queries, stored procedures and functions using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server.
- Develop, maintain and optimise SQL Server Reporting Services solutions.
- Maintain and utilise Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL processes while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Create and maintain applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX), ensuring integration with wider technology platforms.
- Design, develop and maintain scalable MVC applications using C# .NET.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers and QA teams to deliver solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Participate in testing activities including solution, performance, accessibility and security testing.
- Ensure development activities comply with organisational standards, security policies and data protection requirements.
- Maintain development, configuration and project documentation.
- Support audit activities and implement agreed recommendations.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 7 years of experience working with Oracle PL/SQL, ETL technologies and ODI.
- Minimum 7 years of development experience using Oracle APEX and C#.NET.
- Understanding of source control, code promotion and release management practices.
- Experience working across software development and deployment lifecycles.
- Experience delivering Oracle, APEX, ODI and C#.NET solutions aligned with records management and GDPR requirements.
- Experience delivering banking or financial services systems, particularly loan servicing solutions.
- Experience delivering large-scale data migration projects while working with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria
- Third-level qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring or team support.
- Experience working in public sector, banking or financial services environments.
- Experience installing and configuring OBIEE 12C and ODI 12C environments.
- Experience developing SQL Server and SSRS reports.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or similar development lifecycle tools.
- Experience with data analysis and data mapping within banking platforms such as T24.
- Experience supporting Central Credit Register (CCR) development and submissions.
- Experience with OBIEE development, data modelling and dashboard design.
- Experience using Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Experience designing data warehouse solutions for business intelligence reporting.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
