Job Description
As a Senior CRM Developer at Version 1, you will contribute to the design, development and support of Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions for large-scale enterprise and public sector organisations. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and customers, you will help deliver CRM solutions that support business processes, regulatory requirements and data-driven decision making.
You will use your expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, .NET, SQL Server and related technologies to build, customise and integrate CRM solutions while supporting the ongoing evolution of business-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Microsoft Dynamics CRM (v9.2 On-Premise or similar) solutions.
- Configure, customise and extend Dynamics CRM using supported APIs, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Design and develop CRM plugins, workflows and integrations with enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain C# .NET applications, Web APIs and supporting components that integrate with CRM.
- Work with SQL Server databases, including database design, stored procedures, functions and T-SQL development.
- Develop and maintain CRM data models, security models and solution configurations.
- Support data migration, data integration and system enhancement activities.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects and project stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, estimation, reviews and retrospectives.
- Contribute to unit testing, integration testing and quality assurance activities.
- Troubleshoot application, performance and integration issues and implement appropriate resolutions.
- Support CRM release management processes across multiple environments.
- Ensure solutions align with CRM best practices, security requirements and organisational standards.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities across the delivery team.
Qualifications
Essential
- Experience designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 9.2 On-Premise (or similar versions).
- Understanding of CRM architecture and integration with supporting technologies including Active Directory, SharePoint, Exchange, SSRS and API-based backend systems.
- Understanding of CRM release management processes, including environments using multiple CRM solutions.
- Experience with client-side customisation using supported CRM APIs, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Knowledge of FetchXML.
- Understanding of CRM Plugin architecture.
- Experience with CRM data modelling and CRM security models.
- Experience designing and implementing C# Web APIs and integrating them with Dynamics CRM.
- Experience interacting with CRM through the CRM SDK.
- Awareness of CRM performance considerations and platform best practices.
- Understanding of unit testing and integration testing approaches relevant to Dynamics CRM.
- Experience with .NET development.
- SQL Server experience, including database design, stored procedures, functions and T-SQL query development.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
Desirable
- Experience delivering financial or regulatory data collection systems using Dynamics CRM, .NET and SQL Server.
- Experience working within regulated environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise CRM implementations with multiple integrations.
- Relevant Microsoft Dynamics certifications or related professional qualifications.
