Job Description
The AI Tech Lead will lead the design, delivery and evolution of cloud-based applications and AI-enabled solutions. The role combines technical leadership, solution design, stakeholder engagement and team leadership to deliver secure, scalable and compliant technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of cloud-based software solutions, with a preference for Azure technologies.
- Provide technical leadership across the application development lifecycle.
- Support the adoption of AI technologies, including Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with data governance, privacy, security and AI ethics requirements.
- Guide technical design decisions and support architectural best practice.
- Lead and mentor development teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage changing priorities and deliver agreed outcomes.
- Support project delivery within agreed scope, timelines and budgets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across development practices and processes.
- Partner with security, infrastructure and operations teams to ensure solutions remain secure, reliable and maintainable.
- Support compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR, ISO standards and the EU AI Act.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- 7+ years' experience across the Applications Development Lifecycle.
- 5+ years' experience delivering cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in .NET web development.
- Experience delivering software solutions in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, including role-based access control, secrets management and audit logging.
- Good understanding of data architecture, governance, privacy, compliance and AI ethics.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, including GDPR, ISO standards and the EU AI Act.
- Experience leading technical teams or providing technical leadership.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience planning and delivering projects within agreed scope, schedule and budget.
- Experience working effectively in environments with evolving requirements.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with Azure cloud technologies.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry and/or Copilot Studio.
- Python development experience.
- Experience integrating or migrating large-scale on-premises and hybrid-cloud applications.
- Experience with DevOps and MLOps practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience with model lifecycle management and monitoring.
- Experience mentoring and developing team members.
- Interest in developing further expertise in AI technologies.

- Salary Range: €71,000 - €90,000
