Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps & MLOps Consultant to design, implement, and optimise cloud-native and data-driven platforms for our clients. This role involves working closely with engineering, data science, and platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions on Microsoft Azure.
You will be responsible for building and managing end-to-end CI/CD and ML pipelines, enabling efficient model development, training, deployment, and monitoring. The role emphasises Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation, and reproducibility, supporting both application and machine learning workloads in production environments.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for both application and machine learning workloads
Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Bicep
Develop and operationalise MLOps pipelines, including data ingestion, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring
Automate build, test, and release processes to improve delivery speed and reliability
Manage and optimise Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Machine Learning
Implement model versioning, experiment tracking, and reproducibility practices
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to productionise machine learning models
Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting for both applications and ML models (performance, drift, failures)
Ensure security, compliance, and governance across cloud environments
Optimise cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
6+ years of experience in cloud consulting or engineering roles.
Strong experience in DevOps engineering, with hands-on delivery in Azure environments
Proven experience implementing MLOps practices in production settings
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
Solid experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning or similar ML platforms
Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
Understanding of machine learning lifecycle concepts (training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring)
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana)
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and identity management (IAM, RBAC)
