Job Description
- Experience in application support
- Thorough understanding of Windows Operating Systems
- Software implementation, trouble-shooting and application management skills – Change Control & Technical documentation
- Scripting (Powershell)
- Business Continuity - Site Switches for business critical applications
- Incident Management
- Define operational alerts and associated thresholds for alerting
- Middleware application server software including Websphere/Weblogic, IIS, Tomcat experience is desirable
Qualifications
- Third level qualification desirable, 2-3 years’ experience is essential
- Excellent process methodology and be process driven
- Ability to problem solve and be proactive when faced with a challenge
- Networking knowledge desirable
- Performance monitoring and tuning
- Strong customer focus / stakeholder management
- Good MS Excel & MS Word skills
- Cloud computing knowledge
