Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead our Finance ERP transformation, including the evaluation and execution of future-state financial systems. This role requires strong expertise in finance and business processes, with the ability to translate complex operational needs into scalable technology solutions.
In this role, you will work across a PMO supporting both technical (engineering) and functional (product) teams, partnering closely with key partners across Finance, and broader back-office functions including HR, Payroll, Procurement, Legal and Privacy, as well as Executive Leadership, and external vendors to drive successful delivery of complex initiatives.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, aligned with business goals, and executed with a high degree of accountability and transparency.
This role requires a high degree of ownership and comfort operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
Lead ERP Transformation Delivery
Lead end-to-end finance systems transformation initiatives, including assessment, planning, and execution
Support evaluation and selection of future-state ERP and financial systems
Partner with Finance stakeholders to align system capabilities with business needs
Define and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies
Break down large initiatives into manageable phases to support steady delivery
Drive Execution Across the Lifecycle
Manage delivery of ERP initiatives including data migration, testing, and cutover
Plan and execute cutover activities, including readiness tracking, coordination, and risk mitigation
Support post-go-live stabilization by tracking issues, prioritizing resolution, and ensuring focus on the highest-impact items
Monitor risks, dependencies, and blockers, and drive resolution across internal teams and external partners
Maintain clear documentation and tracking across project management and collaboration tools
Partner Across Technical and Business Teams
Work across engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment and progress
Translate product requirements into actionable delivery plans
Communicate trade-offs, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders
Build strong working relationships to support collaboration and execution
Manage Vendors and Resources
Coordinate with system integrators, vendors, and contract resources
Track budgets, resource allocation, and vendor deliverables
Ensure accountability across internal teams and external partners for timely and high-quality delivery
Improve Delivery Through Tools and AI
Leverage AI tools to improve planning, reporting, and overall delivery efficiency
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual overhead
Support adoption of tools and practices that improve visibility and execution
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in technical project or program management
Expert knowledge of Finance systems and business processes (GL, AP/AR, FP&A), with the ability to map and optimize end-to-end workflows across finance and adjacent operational domains
Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or transformations (SAP and Workday preferred)
Experience partnering with or supporting back-office functions such as HR, Payroll, Procurement, Legal, or Privacy in system or process transformation initiatives
Demonstrated ability to drive workflow optimization across Jira by designing automated processes, integrating tools, and continuously improving systems to support scalable delivery
Experience supporting cutover, hypercare, and post-go-live activities
Experience working across both technical and functional teams
Experience managing vendors and system integrators (SI)
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in using and integrating tools such as Jira, Asana, Confluence, LucidChart, Slack, Zoom
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Location: New York City, NY or Englewood Cliffs, NJ - (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
