Job Description
Program Overview:
Verisk‘s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide you with real work experience, professional development, and networking opportunities. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2025. Participation in the internship program requires that you are located near your assigned office as the program is a hybrid work schedule, requiring you to be in the office at least 2 days per week.

Verisk’s Emerging Issues Team:
What are the emerging risks that keep the property and casualty insurance and risk management industry up at night? Identifying such risks and reporting on them in an efficient and timely manner to the industry is one of the key mission critical goals of Verisk’s Emerging Issues team. From technology to health to energy to cybersecurity to the environment, through our suite of services we help the industry keep up with evolving risks that their businesses may face. What You Could Learn:
- Conduct immersive research, and analyze data related to evolving risks and opportunities facing insurers and risk managers.
- Build professional relationships with coworkers and clients while offering support across business units

Experience:
- Enrolled in a bachelor or masters program graduating in 2027. We love folks with varied coursework, but you must possess an analytical mindset, passion for business, and a desire to innovate. Risk Management & Insurance majors, a plus
- A history of tackling projects with a quantitative lens, and a desire for data-driven insights
- Verisk serves the insurance vertical so an interest or past experience in insurance is helpful, though not required
- Ability to analyze data using analytical tools. Be sure to include your technical skillset on your resume, and we can go from there. At a minimum, you should have Microsoft Excel as a foundation.
- Proactive problem solving skills
The Internship Program is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. If you will require work visa sponsorship (e.g., H1-B visa)” after completing your degree, you do not meet the basic requirements of the summer intern role.
