Project Manager

Xactware is searching for a dynamic and creative Project Manager who has the skill, knowledge and experience to help shape our industry-leading solutions. If you are looking to join a team that is vital to the success of a market leader, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What the job is like:

• You will be working across several small Agile teams to successfully deliver projects within a specific deadline and budget.
• You will be expected to manage the scope of the project: balance time, cost, and quality as well as own the release of the project
• You will need to hear, communicate, and share the voice of our customers, communicating their needs to the rest of the team; seek to discover user needs and workflows through customer interactions, stakeholder feedback, and market analysis.
• You will communicate problems, customer issues, challenges, and desired outcomes to the rest of the team, and work with the Product Owner and team to develop solutions.
• You will work closely with the Product Owner to build and prioritize user stories and backlog tasks.
• You will be expected to participate in usability prototype and product testing efforts.
• It will be your job to remove roadblocks to allow the team to rapidly move from discovery to prototyping, to development to release.
• You should constantly strive to gain industry knowledge and develop a mindset of continuous improvement.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

·         Minimum of 5+ year’s project management experience, or combination of equivalent work-related experience and training.

·         3+ years working within Scrum and Kanban Agile environments

·         Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills

·         Strong communication, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and customer focus

·         Works well within tight deadlines with a natural ability to prioritize

·         Strong problem solving, analysis, negotiating skills, business acumen, and conflict management skills

·         Proficient with MS Office products and project management tools

·         Ability to work independently to achieve exceptional results

Additional Skills Desired

·         Proficient in Atlassian Jira is a major plus
