The Account Executive IV is responsible for achieving sales and/or profitability objectives, by expanding and renewing engagement or driving net new growth with existing accounts and new client prospects. Account Executives meet regularly with clients and prospects to share data insights, identify clients’ problems, align their needs with our solutions, and review attribution results. With their extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends, Account Executives will proactively secure client meetings with multiple stakehowlders to understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services to help the clients attain their goals. Success in this role requires strong digital and data-driven marketing knowledge, executive-level relationship skills, disciplined pipeline management, a marketing mindset, and the ability to turn data and insights into measurable business value. Financial marketing experience is a plus.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve assigned sales targets. 50%
- Up to 50% travel expected.
- Deepen existing client relationships—generating incremental business.
- Consult with clients on business issues and marketing program design. Ability to understand client needs, and negotiate costs and services. Resolve sales or delivery issues.
- Work with Strategists and Delivery Teams to execute project specifications and deliver quality results to clients. Develop insightful proposals and deliver strategic sales presentations.
- Manage contracts and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Meet in person with clients and prospects.
- Participate in a high level of prospecting activities: lead generation, qualifying prospects, discovery, and demonstrating solutions to prospective clients. Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities.
- Sell with data and insights.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
- Advanced degree in Business or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years in a quota carrying sales role; demonstrated ability to close new business and manage relationships.
- Recent sales experience within a financial services vendor company; marketing discipline preferred.
- Experience with multi-channel marketing disciplines.
- 1-3 years experience and proficiency required in: Marketing, Media, and Advertising.
- Demonstrated success leading consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, from discovery and proposal development through negotiation and close.
- Ability to use data, insights and market context to create a compelling client vision, position value, and align Vericast solutions to business objectives.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with executive-level client and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagement.
- Proven consultative and insights-based selling skills, including discovery, and solution positioning, and value storytelling.
- Proficiency in delivering persuasive client presentations, proposals, and business cases.
- Adaptability in responding to market changes, evolving client needs, and shifting internal priorities.
- Openness to learning new solutions, capabilities, and go-to-market approaches.
- Executive presence, strong relationship building skills, and the ability to earn trust across diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach to working across sales, strategy, product, analytics, and delivery teams.
- Proven success managing complex opportunities, negotiating effectively, and closing business.
- Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving mindset with sound business judgment.
- Ability to manage client expectations and maintain momentum across multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Disciplined account planning, pipeline management, and forecasting skills.
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota and business objectives.
- Strong organizational skills, CRM proficiency, and attention to detail needed to manage multiple opportunities effectively.
EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE UTILIZED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, with aptitude to learn systems.

Additional Information
Base Salary Range: $116,000-$142,000

Position is eligible for a sales incentive/commission program
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
