Job Description

The Sales Support Specialist provides administrative and operational support to the Sales organization to help ensure business goals are achieved. This role supports sales teams through accurate data maintenance, reporting, coordination of incentives, and general administrative assistance. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Employee Data Management and System Accuracy – 30%
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee data across sales and HR‑related systems. Process updates related to new hires, role changes, transfers, and terminations to ensure data integrity and alignment across systems.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding Systems Access Support – 25%
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities by coordinating system access requests, updates, and removals for sales employees. Partner with HR, IT, and Sales Operations to ensure timely and appropriate access changes.
  • Reporting and Data Support – 15%
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute standard and ad hoc reports related to employee data, system access, and sales support needs. Ensure information is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
  • Administrative and Operational Support – 20% Provide administrative support including scheduling and preparing for meetings, auditing expense reports, preparing presentations, maintaining documentation, and supporting day‑to‑day sales operations.
  • Special Projects and General Sales Support – 10% Participate in special projects and provide general sales support assistance as needed. Adapt to changing priorities and complete additional tasks to support overall business operations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma
  • Relevant work experience or demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities of the role is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new tools or systems quickly
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience in administrative support, sales support, or a related business role is preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and follow-through
  • Comfortable working independently with general guidance
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Adaptable and responsive in a dynamic work environment

EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE UTILIZED

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Sales, finance, and reporting systems as applicable

COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS

  • Regular interaction with Sales team members, Finance partners, and Sales Administration
  • Professional communication with internal stakeholders at various levels

DECISION MAKING

Exercises independent judgment within established guidelines and procedures Escalates issues or discrepancies appropriately when needed

Additional Information

Base Salary Range: $30.00 per hour
