Job Description
The Client Manager III will lead the overall effort required to successfully direct and execute marketing campaigns (digital and print) primarily customized solutions on behalf of the client and in support of client business objectives and prepared strategic plans. The Client Manager III is viewed as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Marketing Service offerings as they relate to Direct Marketing and Digital campaigns; serves as the primary point of daily contact for the assigned client(s) and in addition to servicing the specific projects need they are looking and assessing ways that would provide opportunity to improve our overall service and delivery to ensure we are fostering a positive client company relationship. This is a Remote position.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as the main point of contact for the client regarding project initiatives; serves as the liaison for client projects by channeling all project-related communications with the client outside vendors internal team members and other company staff members, schedules and leads meetings/conference calls with the client and team members to review project initiatives and communicate updates on the progress opportunities and financial implications of activities (some meetings may require travel to the client site and formal presentations). Responsible for the overall management of the project process through the implementation of company processes and procedures in order to meet established client deadlines, communicates timelines to project team members and updates as necessary, manages client budgets and project expenses, ensures quality control throughout each stage of the process.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties above.
- Identifies, develops and leads efforts to implement new processes and procedures that contribute to improving our ability to service and meet business objectives for our clients and or to meet company goals and objectives. Obtains buy in and approval from Sales internal departments client contacts and or management as applicable. Creates and maintains documentation related to the new process and or procedure, provides status updates at regular intervals through the development process, develops all education related collateral and conducts all training sessions to appropriate individuals that will be impacted or required to follow new processes and procedures.
- Serves as the liaison with the Analytics and Data Services processes on a project basis by, assisting in writing data processing (dp) specifications, coordinating client review and approval of dp specifications, and reviewing data processing audits such as source file audits interim audits selection audits and mail file audits. Serves as the liaison with the Creative process on a project basis by, reviewing creative copy and concepts for support of client strategic objectives, coordinating client revisions and subsequent approvals, and coordinating the internal routing of creative documents for quality checks.
- Act as a consultant to the client for development and management of HC programs/solutions. Serves as the liaison with the production scoping and pricing process on a project basis by: identifying upsell opportunities coordinating the generation of cost estimates PWOs/proposals and answering client questions on product or capabilities. Monitoring and overseeing production (print or digital).
- Partners with the Sales Team to consult with clients to understand their business challenges and needs in order to define and propose appropriate marketing strategies and solutions; facilitates the up-sale of cross-organizational marketing products and services to provide clients with integrated marketing solutions.
- Serves as the liaison with the Business Development Executive and Strategic Account team assigned to a client project by: reviewing strategic briefs and coordinating client and team approval, managing changes in strategy throughout the term of a project notifying team members and facilitating discussions with the client, and notifying Business Development Executive of discrepancies in job progression or critical events on projects to ensure client satisfaction and manage overall client relationship.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required.
- Relative experience knowledge and skill can be substituted for the degree must have some marketing coursework
EXPERIENCE
- Requires working knowledge of direct marketing principles and practices
- Requires 5-8 years of Direct Marketing Account Management experience preferably in the Financial Services Industry or an equivalent combination of training and experience
COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS
Contact with current clients, potential clients, external vendors other account executives business development executives and various employees within the following Marketing Services process: Client Strategy Analytics and Business Intelligence Operations Creative and Project Services.
DECISION MAKING
Position requires above average problem solving skills and independent judgment.
Additional Information
Base Salary: $60,000-$80,000
Position is eligible for a 8% annual bonus incentive program.
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
