Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Verification Associate to join our background screening team. The role involves conducting accurate and timely employment verifications as part of pre-employment background checks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end employment verifications for background screening purposes

  • Reach out to employers, HR departments, and references via phone, email, and other communication channels

  • Verify candidate employment details including job titles, tenure, responsibilities, and reasons for leaving

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and client standards

  • Maintain proper documentation and update verification records in internal systems

  • Meet defined turnaround time (TAT) and productivity targets

  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues when required

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (background screening, verification, BPO, or related field preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and quick-learning environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills ( English language ) 

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Basic proficiency in Google Workspace  and data entry systems
