Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance and Membrane
Manager to oversee plant maintenance operations and lead the membrane department in our
advanced reverse osmosis and ion exchange water treatment facility. This role provides direction
to motivate and engage the team to work safely and efficiently, focusing on process improvement
to reduce cycle time, enhance quality, and optimize costs for both maintenance operations and
membrane assets.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and develop a team responsible for servicing, maintaining, and preparing mobile
membrane water treatment units in combination with plant equipment.
● Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies, procedures, and cost
control systems for optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of specialized
equipment and plant systems.
● Drive daily schedule attainment to meet all internal and external customer commitments
with top quality at the lowest cost.
● Collaborate with Engineering, Controls, and the New Product Introduction (NPI) team on
new product development, ensuring serviceability and compliance with specifications.
● Develop and implement process flow procedures to manage inputs and outputs
effectively while collaborating with the material planner for plant warehousing and
inventory management to ensure critical spare parts availability.
● Implement strategies to reduce cycle times and improve quality, service, and safety
through root cause analysis and continuous improvement methods.
● Lead safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance and prioritizing employee
well-being and plant reliability.
● Advance plant and mobile maintenance programs, including preventive, predictive, and
periodic maintenance.
● Serve as acting site manager in leadership's absence, coordinating daily operations and
long-term maintenance planning with key departments.

Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
● Proficient in RO, UF, and EDI membrane operation and plant maintenance.
● Strong understanding of PLC logic and control systems.
● Minimum 5 years of combined experience in a manufacturing and production
environment
● Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, preventive maintenance, with
proficiency in maintenance management software (SAP or similar ERP systems)
● Demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities and proven track record in team
management, with outstanding communication skills.
● Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
● Solid understanding of safety regulations and environmental compliance
● Experience with budget management and cost control
● Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics
● Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred:
● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or associate degree in
electrical, industrial/mechanical engineering, or water treatment
● Strong analytical and project management skills
● Background in maintenance, controls, or operational troubleshooting
● Ability to build and lead a team through change
● Excellent organizational skills and ability to work without direct supervision
● Strong understanding of business processes in a service environment

Additional Information

Working Conditions:
● Ability and willingness to complete occasional site assignments for customer
troubleshooting, operation, and installation
● Must be able to work in various environments, including industrial facilities,
manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities
● Ability to handle repetitive weight up to 50 lbs. and perform physical duties such as
lifting, climbing, and working at elevated heights
● Required to wear safety equipment and clothing where appropriate
● Periodic travel to other sites may be required
