There is an increasing demand for soil remediation as a result of “best practice” in the past. One great method is our in-situ thermal soil remediation technology to remove chemical contaminants from soil & groundwater without excavation.
We are looking for a business developer to join our expertise team within soil remediation to ensure that our expert knowledge and technology are utilised the best for projects primarily in Scandinavia, but also in the rest of Europe. You will be a part of a team consisting of 10-15 colleagues working primarily with soil remediation and is located in our headquarter in Søborg, Denmark.
You will primarily be responsible for proactively exploring the market to find new and relevant opportunities/leads. This is primarily done through good and technical networks and conferences, or alternatively through collaboration partners and tender portals. It will be your responsibility to find and mature opportunities, so they eventually turn into a signed contract.
The process from lead to contract typically takes 4 years. In order to position our technology the best way, we are eager to illustrate our expert knowledge, which typically is done with consultancy assistance, laboratory tests or pilot tests. It will require a team effort to succeed.
You will also be responsible for giving status on sales leads on meetings and via SalesForce.
Your primary location will be Søborg, Denmark. Travel activity will also be required, we expect around 30-50 days per year.
English is required, Danish, French or Spanish is an advantage.
Kvalifikationer
We imagine that you have a technical and commercial mind-set so you are able to understand the customer’s challenges and position our technical solution the best way. The customer will focus on the price, whereas we also highlight quality and credibility.
It will be an advantage if you have experience with soil remediation, but your technical and commercial mindset and collaborative drive to make the best winning strategy is the most important.

The team
You will be a part of the sales and proposal team in Global Engineering. In order to create success, you will be collaborating with colleagues working with soil remediation in other teams of Global Engineering.
