As a Technical Account Manager, you'll play a crucial role in driving innovation and sustainability. Working closely with our customers, you'll create advanced equipment and chemical treatment solutions across various industries. Beyond managing the sales lifecycle, you'll serve as a technical advisor, understanding customer needs and delivering creative solutions to improve energy and water efficiency, enhance profitability, and protect our natural resources.

Looking for someone who currently resides in the following areas:  Omaha, NE, Lincoln, NE and Sioux City, IA or surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a consultant and advisor: Utilize our extensive product portfolio to solve various water and process treatment needs. Apply your expertise to listen, learn, and implement technologies, ensuring customer safety and environmental practices are upheld.
  • Embrace adventure: This role takes you out of the typical office setting. You'll work in the field, collaborating with commercial sites, and actively engage with field test equipment, chemical feed systems, and other water treatment-related tools. Proactive problem-solving and innovative solutions will be critical.
  • Be a team player: Collaborate with colleagues from different backgrounds, actively participating in daily operational meetings to stay informed, share best practices, and provide customizable solutions.
  • Promote account growth: Partner with teams/divisions to optimize results and deliver exceptional equipment, chemical, and analytics solutions.

Qualifications

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical), Biology, Environmental Science, Technology, or Chemistry. Equivalent experience in the field will also qualify.
  • 5+ years of experience in water treatment applications like cooling, boiler, waster water and membrane chemicals
  • Ability and willingness to work in a range of environments, including heavy industrial facilities, light manufacturing facilities, and commercial & institutional properties.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Other Useful Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in direct sales, customer service, account management, or industry operations is a plus!
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides
  • Inclusive communication and technical (computer) skills will come in handy.
