Job Description

Job Summary:
Field Area Managers are responsible for overseeing and managing a specific geographic region or area for a company. They are typically responsible for a team of Field Service Employees and ensure that they meet their targets and objectives within a given region. This position will report to our Mid Atlantic Territory Manager and support a number of dispersed technicians at customer sites mainly in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Key Characteristics 

Duties & Responsibilities 
● Lead a dispersed team of Field Service Employees within an assigned geography / contracts portfolio
● Manage contracts and operations at our customer sites to ensure a safe working condition, contract compliance, and financial performance
● Responsible for staffing and the development of Field Service Employees within your geography / contracts portfolio
● Responsible for operational metrics such as Environmental, Health and Safety performance, employee utilization, overtime and operational costs
● Help build strong relationships with  our customer base
Note: This position will cover sites within the PA/NJ area, qualified individuals outside the listed area will be considered. Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 
Preferred:
● Experience with large scale equipment commissioning and operations

● Previous Leadership experience with a field-based team
● Demonstrated ability to communicate with those you work with
● Strong troubleshooting skills - ability to analyze and resolve problems
● Intermediate skills with Google’s suite of applications. 
● Experience working with remote supporting teams.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
Required
● BS degree in a technical field - for example Chemistry, or Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or five years’ experience and relevant leadership experience in industrial water, wastewater, or food & beverage water treatment solutions or related field
● Ability and willingness to travel within assigned geography, with an estimated travel of 30-60%

Additional Information

● Position requires frequent (35-70%) Travel within the region, with occasional travel outside of designated territory.
● Will be meeting at customer and internal Veolia sites in industrial settings
● Some sites may have externally located or non-climate controlled equipment subject to seasonal weather conditions.
