Job Description

Reporting into Veolia WTS’s VP-P&L Procurement, this key regional role will oversee a team of 7 Procurement team members who are accountable for ~$30M of Veolia WTS spend across multiple global regions supporting the P&D business. 

In partnership with internal functional stakeholders and business partners in the P&D product line, the P&D Procurement Director is responsible for leading overall procurement activities for the product line consisting of ozone generation equipment (standard skids and Projects), associated balance of plant (BoP) for ozone systems operation, and Ultraviolet (UV) systems and BoP.  This thoughtful and results oriented leader will be accountable for all procurement related deliverables for P&D.  This role will influence and collaborate with product line and regional leadership and suppliers to develop/deploy a procurement strategy, leveraging the broader Procurement team, including Global Category Management, to deliver reliable and cost efficient disinfection solutions that deliver value to our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Leadership & Culture

  • Collaborate with the Business leadership, Global Supply Chain, technology and product management to drive improvement in total product cost (material + conversion cost + operating cost) to deliver value to our customers
  • Lead localization of key materials/components to drive product cost and performance efficiency in out global manufacturing centers for P&D in Canada, Europe and China
  • Partner with the business to develop and deliver key new product introductions to drive future business growth initiatives

Financial Metrics

  • Deliver EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) improvement for the P&D Product Line/Regions while mitigating market risks via focus on top line growth and bottom-line.
  • Deliver DMI/DMP (Direct Material INflation/Direct Material Productivity) and NPI (New Product Introductions) targets to the business
  • Deliver applicable GEP (Global Efficiency Plan) and Synergy targets

Procurement Collaboration

  • Deliver on commitments (Project Execution, Fulfillment, On Time Delivery, Supplier Quality, etc.).
  • Drive compliance to ‘Procure to Pay’ policies & procedures.
  • Leverage category/regional support and strategy as applicable

Required Education & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or any other related field (preferred).
  • 15 years’ experience in increasing roles in Procurement & Supply Chain function in several types of industries, with regional/global leadership and knowledge of business strategy, procurement strategy & processes, category management and overall execution of procurement KPIs.
  • Prior experience with disinfection technologies preferred
  • Salary Range: $148,000 - $185,000
