Veolia's comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental and vision insurance. Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.
Total target compensation (base plus incentive) of $250,000 – $375,000.00 annually. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
As the Regional President – West Region (RP), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations, growth, and strategic direction of our business within the West region of the United States. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the region's operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, driving business development, fostering key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers. This is a high-impact leadership position that requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and exceptional leadership skills.
You’ll use your leadership experience to champion change and lead business strategy towards our ecological transformation goal. You’ll leverage your thoughtful problem-solving approach and safety mindset to formulate recommendations for key executives within the business to help promote change. You’ll provide the strategic leadership and vision for the multi-state region while directing and overseeing the operational activities and driving growth in the region.

Scope & Responsibilities:
The RP will be responsible for the overall effectiveness of the region which includes:
- Design an ambitious growth strategy, leveraging an understanding of the local ecosystem, as well as the global capabilities of the group
- Build and lead a high-performing regional team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration within the region and the broader group, innovation and a strong sense of multifaceted impact.
- Responsibility for plant and personnel safety, cost control, efficiencies, and financial performance of each operating unit in the region
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, municipalities, and industrial partners, to foster collaboration and secure new contracts
- As a member of the senior leadership team of Municipal Water, co-create the long-term ambition, strategy and operational model of the future.
Qualifications
Core Requirements:
- Demonstrated strategic, conceptual and analytical skills, including solid understanding of relevant commercial environmental issues
- Strong sense of purpose and willingness to contribute to a human-centric culture and to a broad impact
- Ability to analyze a variety of complex problems to make sound recommendations for their solutions
- P&L responsibility with thorough knowledge of financial management
- Proven experience in growing a regional business with demonstrated success in managing customer relations including renewal of contracts and establishing new business
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or MBA preferred
- 15+ years’ progressively responsible experience in the Energy / Utilities / Environmental industries
- 10+ years’ experience leading and supervising a senior staff
