Job Description

1. REPORTING MANAGER (POSITION TITLE)

 - Functional: Lead Service Engineer/Project Manager              
 -  Operational: Lead Service Engineer /Project Manager

 

2. GENERAL FUNCTION (PURPOSE OF POSITION)

  • Responsible for planning and executing project schedule, targets and plan in compliance with the clients' contract, in a safe manner meeting both cost and schedule requirements.

 3. TASKS

  • Technical

  • Draft project schedule and deliver the work to approved schedule

  • Detail Engineering and submission

  • Vendor Selection

  • Ensure the work progress according to schedule and take all necessary actions in the event of any delay

  • Manage and deal with non-compliance issues and propose preventive and corrective measures

  • Receive and verify equipment on site

  • Organize and coordinate contractors’ work according to the schedule

  • Ensure good working relationship with all partners

  • Estimate and allocate manpower, equipment and materials

  • Testing and commissioning

  • Documentation management as per ISO standards

  • Prepare project progress reports

  • Assist the Project Manager to manage the project cost and schedule

  • Conduct  onsite training in O&M activities

  • Involved in troubleshooting for existing installation/site

  • Project/Contract Reporting

  • Assist the PM  to Set up the system required for our service contract after project handover

  • Manage site contractors and coordinate resources in area of work

  • Manage Site personnel  for daily Service and operations

 Safety

  • Apply the Safety procedures for operations bound to their activities

  • Apply the Quality procedures for operations bound to their activities

Qualifications

University Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental/Electrical Engineering

Additional Information

Candidate will be based in Singapore. 

Class 3 driving license is required

1 - 2 year(s) of experience in project execution, preferably in water and wastewater projects

Technical

  • Understand and apply basic engineering concepts (Level 3 - Competent)

  • Read and understand engineering drawings (equipment layout, GA drawings,SLD etc) (Level 3 - Competent)
