Job Description

The Fulfillment Team Lead will lead a team of associates linked to one of our Fulfillment center main functions: Receiving, Pick, or Packing operations. This role will report to and work closely with the Fulfillment Supervisor to ensure that operation objectives are met by associates. The ideal candidate will help implement new processes to help improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of our current processes and infrastructure.

More specifically, you will:

●       Lead a small team of associates in their daily activities and manage their workflow

●       Maintain a positive work environment with a high degree of motivation and commitment towards business objectives

●       Execute the daily supervisor’s plan to reach objectives

●       Act as the first point of contact to assess & clear daily roadblocks, escalate to supervisor if necessary

●       Coach individuals on day-to-day tasks and empower them to reach their goals

●       Maintain relationships with key contacts involved in the day-to-day operations and ship orders according to Vention’s commitment schedule

●       Contribute to the improvement and scalability of operational processes and tools

●       Participate in daily planning activities

Qualifications

  • Between 1 to 2 years of proven experience in directly leading teams or warehouse operations

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills

  • Goal-oriented, with a strong desire to achieve results

  • Proven organizational, planning and project management skills, an asset

  • Prior experience with pick and ship or operations, an asset
