• Guiding snorkeling excursions, marine biology activities and providing snorkeling lessons for the guests at the resort as and when required.
• Demonstrate a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards awareness.
• Responsible for conducting PADI courses for guests with different levels of experience and guide dive trips.
• Up-selling and suggestive booking for dive courses, excursions and activities available as per Velaa service standards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and promote a safe working environment.

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an instructor at a 5-star luxury hotel/resort.
• Minimum PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or Higher.
• Emergency First Response Instructor, and Nitrox Instructor, other specialties will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of SCUBA PRO Equipment Care and Maintenance & the knowledge of Compressor handling.
• Excellent command of written & spoken English & Chinese, fluency in other languages will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of computing and MS office software.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and experience in customer service.
• Pleasant personality with excellent grooming.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
