About the Role
Working directly with our customer facing project teams you will be responsible for delivery of multiple customer-facing and internal projects across the VTS portfolio, delivering tangible outcomes to both VTS and our customers. You be responsible for:
- Securing funding via business cases and managing governance processes
- Translating business cases and technical requirements into customer SOWs to ensure commercial clarity and security of project deliverables and costs
- Ensuring transparency and timely reporting on progress, status, risks and issues, and budget for pipeline, work-in-progress, and operational activities
- Providing financial analysis and reporting of projects to the Head of Delivery
- Ensuring transparency and timely reporting on progress, status, scope, and budget for pipeline, work-in-progress, and operational activities.
This is a full-time role that will require you to work in our Newmarket office 3 days per week.
Note: In alignment with our internal structure, the final role title may differ from the one advertised.
What you will bring to the role
You will be a Project Manager/Delivery Lead with at least 4 years’ project management experience in client-facing, software delivery roles, delivering end-to-end across the SDLC using scaled agile methodologies. An expert in scope and cost management, you will be responsible for multiple projects at a value of $1m or greater. You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:
- Experience delivering software projects utilising scaled agile and core principles and frameworks of project management and governance within a fast-paced business environment
- The ability to promote effective communication, encourage participation, and extract actions and decisions
- Tangible experience in leading/facilitating client-facing project meetings and workshops
- Business analysis experience, including capturing and documenting customer requirements, defining business cases and SOWs
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SAP, and Microsoft applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to a broad audience.
