About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team. We offer a friendly and inviting team environment based in Penrose, with ongoing support and growth.

Reporting into the Financial Accountant, this position will be is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of all Credit Control functions, including (but not limited to):

• Conduct credit checks on new credit account customers and provide recommendation on credit limits
• Provide back up support to the wider finance team as required.
• To understand and improve internal controls, systems, and policies, to increase debt recovery efficiency
• Generate weekly and fortnightly reports on ATBs and outstanding debts
• Follow-ups with Customers on receipts and payment reminders
• Overseeing the collection of customer accounts in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction
• Liaise with customers and internal personnel with the goal of reducing debt levels
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties

Who are we looking for?

A high level of accuracy, intermediate MS Excel skills, knowledge of the credit control process, great attention to detail, energy, initiative, and enthusiasm to go the extra mile.  An affinity for learning new systems will complement your passion for numbers. A focus on results and an ability to build effective business relationships will each contribute to success.
