• We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our growing finance team in Wetzikon, Switzerland. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization while supporting our broader business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledger accounts, and account reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
• Ensure compliance with Swiss tax regulations and prepare tax documentation as required
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any outstanding items in a timely manner
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support business initiatives
• Maintain and update accounting records using our accounting software and systems
• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance organizational efficiency
• Monitor and track expenses, ensuring proper categorization and approval workflows
• Communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders and management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of Swiss tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with GAAP or IFRS accounting standards
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
• Experience preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent professional certification preferred
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise accounting systems is advantageous
