Job Description

Position Summary: Plan, execute, acquire resources, and coordinate efforts of cross-functional team members to deliver projects according to timelines and within budget.  Manage all necessary status and escalation communication throughout the quality of deliverables to support management requirements.

  • Manage multiple projects with definitive timelines, ensuring execution to expectations, and timelines are met
  • Develop and maintain project plans in accordance with consultant recommendations to ensure that sustainable improvements are implemented
  • Clearly communicate project status updates, deliverables, standards, expectations, results, etc. to diverse groups of individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Facilitate analysis, IT and test coordination as applicable, and change management execution
  • Partner with ops teams, engineering, and IT to implement process improvements and enhancements, training and communicating with all team members
  • Document and benchmark best practices in implementation process
  • Provide process documentation
  • Maintain and communicate operational KPIs and other metrics reflecting the impacts of the system implementation
  • Prepare and maintain reporting to the appointed steering committee    

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, project management, supply chain or related field strongly preferred or commensurate education, training and experience required
  • Minimum 4 years project management experience
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), web-based and Windows based software
  • Working knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, SAP, and AS400
  • Strong project management skills, ideally based on the launch of new business platforms
  • High level of accountability, strong work ethic, proven ability to take ownership of responsibilities
  • Self-motivated with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines within an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent professional level written and verbal communication skills - ability to interface and communicate effectively with multiple functional groups, geographic regions/cultures, different levels of internal and external organizations
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience related to supply chain, distribution or logistics management strongly preferred
  • Strong entrepreneurial and strategic thinker with consistent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to earn the trust and confidence of customers and stakeholders (internal/external)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with various work behavior styles and elicit cooperation from a diverse group, including upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Solid negotiation and collaboration skills - able to influence outcomes and bring initiatives to successful completion
  • PMP Preferred

This position operates in a professional office environment.
