Job Description

Position Overview

The ServiceNow Senior Developer is a both a technical resource that possesses administration capability and the ability to design, build, and customize ServiceNow platform applications and services as well as a team leader who will manage the India team of developers and analysts who are supporting the Technicolor ServiceNow environment. . The senior developer works across applications, delivers new functionality and innovative solutions, and supports the entire development lifecycle. The senior developer has an extensive software development background that will be enhanced by ServiceNow System Administration, ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow, and Application creation in ServiceNow.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new ServiceNow platform applications and services
  • Reviewing request for development and determining the technical design
  • Developing scripts / code to meet business requirements of the request
  • Performing the initial testing and releasing code for UAT
  • Provide maintenance for existing ServiceNow implementations.
  • Monitor workload of team members and ensure development requests are allocated correctly

Candidate profile:

  • Hands on experience of 6+ years in ServiceNow development
  • Experience in JavaScript, Jelly Scripting, jQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap, HTML, Ajax, CSS
  • Configure and improve core and custom applications
  • Configuration of ServiceNow platform, including the creation of workflows, UI design, ACL and business rules - Required
  • Configure and maintain Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Formatters, Client side and Service side Scripting - Required
  • Experience creating customer facing portals (Good hands-on Experience, Developing Service portals) - Required
  • Develop ServiceNow reports and dashboards (PA)
  • Integration (interfacing) of enterprise software systems
  • RESTful API Integrations - Required
  • Hands-on on Now mobile applications or any new modules to Service Now
  • Displays a sense of ownership and exhibits flexibility, resilience, and resourcefulness
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification - Required
  • Certified Implementation Specialist Certification - Recommended
  • ServiceNow Application developer certification - Recommended
  • Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances into production.
