This role is responsible for telling the stories behind the numbers of our business. This means using your technical, financial and analytical skills to uncover insights that can help the company make better decisions. You will be developing and implementing financial planning and forecasting models, analysing financial performance and working closely with other departments to make an impact on the business.

This is a critical role in helping the company to make the right decisions!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial planning and forecasting models
• Prepare month-end and other ad hoc financial reports to management and the board of directors explaining the key business drivers and developments
• Monitor and evaluate pricing strategies on an ongoing basis and make adjustments as needed to maintain our competitive advantage
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the company's budget and forecast
• Analyse financial performance and identify trends and patterns to increase profitability 
• Work closely with key stakeholders in other departments to gather and analyse data
• Support the company's strategic planning process
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making across the company
• Sending financial information on a quarterly basis to the private equity firm

• The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to think creatively and tell stories in a compelling way.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills (no mouse)
• Good presentation skills (PowerPoint and Google slides)
• Good people skills - manage stakeholders for budgeting, reporting
• Business Intelligence exposure is a plus - master data etc
• Curiosity and a proactive mindset
• Able to work under pressure
