We’re looking for a Head of Workplace & Property who truly understands the impact a well-designed workplace has on people and engagement. You’ll bring our culture and ways of working to life through a thoughtful, forward-looking property and workplace strategy.

This role calls for someone with strong experience of workplace consolidation and property relocation,relationship-building skills, able to balance operational excellence with a people-first mindset.
You'll be able to demonstrate:
- Strategic thinker with experience delivering major workplace, property, or change initiatives
- Proven ability to connect people and culture strategy to space design and usage, creating environments that drive engagement, belonging and performance
- Demonstrated understanding of current workplace trends and how physical environments shape employee behaviour and outcome
- Proven senior leadership experience across multiple operational domains such as workplace, property, warehouse logistics, or facilities
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and operational risk management
- Experience managing warehouse or logistics operations in a regulated, customer-focused environment
- Commercial acumen with budget responsibility, supplier oversight and service delivery experience
- Collaborative and engaging leadership style, with strong stakeholder management skills

As Head of Workplace & Property, you'll manage the following teams:
- Health and Safety
- Facilities
- Warehouse
- Catering
- Security

As part of our wider organisational transformation, you’ll play a critical role in modernising our workplace and optimising our property footprint. You'll navigate the line between remote, hybrid and in office teams with high emotional intelligence.
In short, the brief is to create high quality, efficient space that reflects and nurtures the UW culture and draws colleagues into our offices through an engaging and enabling workspace and culture.
What you’ll do:
- Provide strategic leadership across all workplace, property, logistics, and safety functions
- Lead and develop high-performing teams with a strong culture of service, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Align our workspace with the business’s transformation goals and changing customer and employee expectations
- Own the UW health and safety policy and lead H&S compliance across all UW sites
- Oversee supplier performance and drive efficiency, service excellence, and sustainability across all sites
- Lead the long-term planning for the UW property portfolio that respects the History of UW and inspires its future
- Work closely with HR, IT and Communications to enable seamless hybrid working and great on-site experiences
- Develop a workplace strategy that reflects current working patterns business objectives and helps build and facilitate the unique UW culture.
- Ensure the warehouse operation is scalable, cost-effective, and aligned to customer delivery expectations
- Facilitate change and transformation through data, insights and strategic planning
