Job Description
Permanent, Part-time, Hybrid Working.
Flexible FTE arrangement available: any weekdays, start and end times are flexible.
If you're an experienced Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner looking to step into academia and inspire the next generation of practitioners, this role is for you! You'll be an integral member of the Academic team, delivering high-quality teaching and learning and supporting students to become confident, capable practitioners.
In this role you will:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across lectures, tutorials, practical classes, face to face and online, as well as supervise clinical settings using innovative, student-centred approaches.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and provide regular, constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Assess, mark and moderate student work and performance in line with College requirements, policies and industry standards.
- Contribute to course and program development through feedback, industry consultation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the scholarly and professional community life of the College, including meetings, training, events and collaborative activities.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have:
- A Bachelor's degree qualification in a relevant field to that in which will be taught (for Higher Education courses).
- Current registration with CMBA (Chinese Medicine Board of Australia) in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine divisions. Candidates with registration in all three divisions (Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs & Dispensing) are highly encouraged to apply
- 3- 5 years demonstrated experience working within the industry of expertise
- Communication skills - strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
