Job Description
The Engagement plays a vital role in implementing placement and stakeholder engagement strategies for all Acknowledge Education's Community Services and Master of Social Work Higher Education programs. Reporting directly to the Engagement Team Leader, this role involves sourcing, developing, and managing local industry partnerships to ensure high quality field placement opportunities for Acknowledge Education's students.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate and secure student field placement opportunities with industry partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, stakeholders and alumni networks
- Ensure all placements meet AASW, CWA and ESOS Act compliance requirements
- Collaborate with academic staff to align placements with course and accreditation standards
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of industry contacts and partnerships
- Oversee the quality of student placements and support positive placement experiences
- Gather and use feedback from host organisations to improve student readiness and outcomes
- Manage and resolve placement issues, escalating complex matters where required
- Plan placement pipelines in line with projected student numbers to achieve full placement rates
- Monitor stakeholder and student satisfaction and drive continuous improvement through insights
Qualifications
Qualification & Experience:
- 3+ years of direct experience in the community services or social work field.
- A diploma or degree in Community Services, Social work, Management, or related disciplines.
- Experience in building and maintaining industry partnerships and executing stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Proven track record of successful business development and program management.
- Understanding placement processes and compliance requirements in Higher education and VET sectors.
